Spending much of the day in an environment that revolves around words and information means my bookcases are bulging and my wish-list overflowing. Books — instructional, informational, graphic novels, historical, painting, photo, biographical, art-related in any way — take up as much of my ‘work room’ as my materials. So it’s only a matter of time before new finds and favorite picks show up in blog posts…
So, instead of tending to unfinished projects (see above), it’s time to debate the efficacy of Twitter in regards to my daily life…
The clutches! Here’s a sample of the most-completed stitchery to date. Everything else is still in various states of completion and pairings — vintage cloth and tapestry here, leather, suede and grommets there. To say nothing of the potential linings, zippers and threads. It’s taking a while since this is my first go-round with leather, but I can’t wait to tackle the purple hues that just came my way.
It snowed last weekend. Not the huge blizzard everyone got all twisted up in a bunch about, but enough to require two good snow-shoveling efforts…
