Sorting through all the “stuff” I’ve collected over the years is time-consuming — hence the lack of action or new listings on etsy as of late. Leather tanned for over a year apparently plays a part. The New York Magazine article fills in on the rest of the details, beating out the Marie Claire snippet on the Ballet flats that cost $538 but well under the $7,300 alligator bag…

The [...]Spirit and Place
This is kinda cool to know: Spirit & Place has posted an open call for collaborative events. The theme this year is ‘Exploring Imagination’. There’s three informational sessions and a collaboration workshop on January 25 from 9am to Noon (The English Building, 600 North Alabama St.). It upscaled the macaroni and cheese without seeming to be some pretentious-fusion denial about what we were really eating.
Apparently it’s fine to try this with food (maybe) but polyester placemats — that’s a no-no.
